Pastor F. Clay Seneker, is a retired pastor serving Resurrection as a part time supply and transition pastor. Pastor Seneker retired Jan. 1, 2006, and began providing Supply Services at Resurrection in August, 2006. Pastor Seneker is a second career clergy person who was ordained in 1981. He worked in industry prior to going back to college in 1973 to seek admission at a Lutheran Seminary. He graduated from ETSU in 1977 with a BSW degree and begun classes in a four year program at Lutheran Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C. He graduated in 1981 with a MDiv and accepted a call to a congregation in Chattanooga where he served until his retirement. Pastor Seneker believes that trust in Jesus the Christ as witnessed about in the New Testament is critical for faith and salvation.
