2007 Blessing of the Pets

2005 Ooltewah Christmas Parade - It was a cold and rainy December day, but a dozen or so brave members from RLC took to the streets of Ooltewah for the annual Christmas Parade. The floats were many, but the spectators were a bit scarce. Regardless, members of RLC were able to hand out hundreds of "evangelical" candy canes. (NOTE: Click on thumbnails for larger view)

2005 Annual Talent Show - For several years now the members of Resurrection Lutheran Church have hosted an annual Talent Show. This event is designed to showcase some of the unique talents with which God has gifted our congregation. Below on the left we see our beloved Master of Ceremonies, who plays a mean set of drums and is known to bring out the "Elvis" alter ego once in a while. The photo on the right shows the Kuriens performing an enchanting Indian advent song. (NOTE: Click on thumbnails for larger view)

2004 White Water Rafting Trip - Personally, I have never gathered enough courage to embark on such a trip myself, but several brave souls from RLC have on an almost yearly basis. It's interesting to note that this is the only available photo from the last two rafting trips, leading me to believe that more than a few cameras were dropped into the water by accident.
